2010 All Ireland Seedcorn Competition – applications now open


Start-up companies across the island are being offered the opportunity to learn more about how to apply to enter the 2010 All Ireland Seedcorn Competition which has a €280,000 prize fund from InterTradeIreland.

InterTradeIreland’s equity advisers are presenting seminars covering the benefits of entering the competition and how to prepare a business plan to attract potential investors during a series of free workshops. In addition, a previous winner will talk about their own personal experience of the competition.

The schedule of workshops is:

– Waterford – 22nd June 2010 – 8.30am – Ramada Hotel, Waterford

– Birr – 22nd June 2010 – 6.00pm – Birr Technology Centre

– Limerick – 23rd June 2010 – 2.00pm – Enterprise Acceleration Centre, LIT

The sessions last around an hour and refreshments will be provided.
