It is clear from global developments that we are moving into a radically new era of complexity which demands a very different approach to how we lead and deal with the world around us.  As leaders and coaches we are called upon to become role models and help to shape future leaders.

These workshops will be presented by Dr Corina Grace who will share the idea that we need to move away from traditional leadership competencies and to succeed in the future.

She will discuss Authentic Leadership and going beyond models of EQ (Emotional Quotient) to SQ (Spiritual Quotient). Her presentation will discuss the paradigm shifts that are occurring and demanding a qualitatively different approach to how we lead, and some of the practical ways we can support our coaching clients in reaching those higher stages of development so that they can effectively lead in these challenging times.

Dr. Corina Grace is an international Organisation Development professional specialising in releasing Leadership potential during times of turbulence and change. Corina is author of the career management book "Take Charge of Your Career.....and Find a Job You Really Love!"  published by Liffey Press.

Association for Coaching International Conference March 2010 - Going Global

‘Going Global 2010’ is the theme of the Association For Coaching's International confernece taking place on the 11 and 12 March in London. It is a definite 'must attend' event for coaches who are looking for leading edge thinking and a opportunity to connect with professional coaches and learning and development professionals.

Going Global 2010 promises some of the most powerful and challenging speakers in coaching, while giving you the opportunity to master your coaching skills and connect with peers and other movers and shakers of the coaching world.

U Coaching Programme: 25 January, Galway 2010 - 10% discount

If you are a coach I am sure you always looking for new tools and techniques to support your clients.

I was recently made aware of a programme called U Coaching.

U-Coaching is based on the work of Prof. Otto Scharmer's (MIT) work on 'Theory U' or 'Presencing'.

U-Coaching provides a framework for coaching that can be navigated using a collection of mindsets and tools to help you be a better coach.

I met Barry Walsh, one of the organisers of this programme some 5 years ago when we were both coaches on a programme for the IMI. He tells me that the U Coaching programme which is running in January in Galway will be covering:

- How to fine-tune your listening skills to obtain maximum response from the client

- How to distinguish between two levels of change - developing skills/behavioural change and re-framing attitudes/breakthrough in perspective- through the application of U-Coaching

- How to integrate U-Coaching approach with your own experience and values.

Barry has kindly offered members of the Biz Growth Community a 10% discount - just mention you heard about the programme from Krishna when you book. Note - this is not an affiliate link and I am not being rewarded in any way for passing this information on to you.

More details about the programme can be found online - this is a PDF - http://www.peopledevelopment.ie/documents/U-Coaching_Programme_Jan_2010.pdf
