Prior to establishing my own business, I was a senior executive in a FTSE 100 companyand I lived and wored in Asia, North America and Europe through which I developed in-depth first-hand experience of working in very diverse environments.
My roles involved strategic organisational development and change, employer branding, building organisational capability and ensuring that employees and key stakehoplders were engaged to deliver business performance. through this work I developed in-depth experience of leading complex projects, talent management and high performance coaching. When I established my own consultancy I built on that experience to assist organisations build marketing and communications capability and skills.
My online education programmes cover visual content marketing, live stream communications, personal branding, employer branding and employee engagement, digital and integrated PR, online reputation management, online networking for career success, digital marketing and social media marketing.
As the technology landscape continues to change, I am constantly researching and testing tools to help my clients and participants in my workshops integrate the best solutions for their communications strategy. That may be a high potential tech startup who wants to build global reach, a global consumer brand who wants to integrate social and digital technologies into their communications, employee engagement and crisis management plans, or a business who wants to be more effective in their digital communications.

I am passionate about enabling people who are not technically minded master tools that can help them be more effective with their marketing, digital communications and online PR. Many times these are low cost and often they are applications you can use to create engaging visual content from images to animations, audio content to videos on their mobile device.

As an early adopter of technology for communications, for more than 14 years I have been writing and educating marketing and communications professionals on how to integrate live video and live audio into their marketing, social selling, social customer support, employee engagement and crisis management programmes. I have reported on case studies of organisations and businesses using live streaming to support their strategic communications goals.
I am passionate about the potential of real-time digital communications and since 2015 I have produced and hosted a live video programme called the Live Stream Insiders Show, with my co-host (a broadcaster and producer for the BBC). I cover the latest trends, technologies, tips and case studies for integrating live streaming into your communication programmes. For my work as the producer and co-host of the show I was a finalist in the Streaming Awards, and I regularly speak at conferences about the trends and best practice of live video, often sharing the stage (and even moderating expert panels) from organisations such as Facebook, Twitter, Google, Cisco, Mashable, CNN, the BBC and RTE.

I have been an external advisor and thought leader within the IBM Futurists programme for the #NewWayToWork initiative in Europe and am a Sage Business expert, providing them with educational resources including articles and creating live content from their own events.
I am a member of a team of trainers and facilitators delivering a Masterclass in Mobile Marketing for Google’s corporate clients in Europe. I have also been Google Expert Contributor on the topic of Google Hangouts and was the first Irish provider of Google Helpouts providing face to face digital communications support – I covered questions about digital marketing, social business communications, content marketing, personal branding – unfortunately Google ended the programme after a test period.
In 2005 I qualified one of the first Reachcc Certified Personal Branding Strategists, then became a Certified 360Reach analyst as well as qualifying the Reachcc Online Identity programme for personal branding strategists. Since 2005 I have written and spoken on the topic of personal branding so am acknowledged as one of the early adopters of this methodology in Europe.
