I recently hosted a Google Hangout On Air about how University College Dublin are using Google Hangouts On Air as part of their communication platform with their students and prospective students in my Visual Content Marketing Show series.
As part of my series of case studies of how organisations are using Google Hangouts on Air are being used by organisations and businesses, here is another example from Ireland.
This time it is Accenture Ireland who are using Google Hangouts On Air as part of their content marketing in their graduate recruitment process.
They recently hosted a Google Hangout on Air on the topic of diversity which you can find below or on YouTube.
And their forthcoming Hangout On Air is all about the culture of Accenture Ireland – a topic that I am sure prospective employees are interested in hearing about.
Graduate recruitment and attracting quality candidates requires organisations to be distinctive and this use of Google Hangouts On Air by Accenture Ireland is an interesting way of expressing the employer brand in the resourcing and recruitment process. And of course once the event has been hosted there is a recording available for replay.
How could you put Google Hangouts to work in your business to support your recruitment process and express your employer brand?
Let me know what questions you have about using Hangouts On Air for your organisation in relation to your recruitment process and if you would like to book a consultation with me to discuss the issues covered in the live event you can book a Google Helpout with me here. Or you can contact me about my services to support you using Hangouts On Air for marketing, communications and employer branding for your business.
Disclosure: I have delivered workshops in recent years for Accenture Ireland on the topic of social media for business and was recently invited to address the graduate recruitment team about how to use social media for employee advocacy and ambassador programmes as part of the 2014 graduate recruitment process.
