I can not stand clutter – and it seems I am not alone as new research called the ‘Ariel All the Power you Need’ report into household habits found that 69 per cent of women in Europe consider clutter to be a main cause of stress.
The research was conducted with 6,000 women. Over a quarter of the women surveyed (28%) said they bought ‘multifunction’ products to save space, and stated that they make daily life easier and simpler (76%).
Almost two thirds (61%) of women said they try to reduce bulk by using concentrated laundry products and are heavy to carry.
Almost half (44%) also listed laundry products with multiple functions -such as detergents with whitener, stain removal, fabric conditioner, wash booster or added scent – among their favourite multifunctional products.
I recently had the opportunity to test out the new Ariel 3in1 Pods – you may have seen the TV advert for them, or seen them on the supermarket shelves with an introductory price this month, thanks to Burrell Marketing and PR who gave me some products to test on behalf of P and G UK and Ireland.
We usually use Ariel Actilift for both coloured and white washes, so I was interested to test out the new product.
One thing that is different about using the 3in1 Pods is that you have to place one Ariel Pod directly in the drum then load your washing on top.
Apparently the new Ariel 3in1Pods took some 8 years to develop and it has earned over 50 new patents for Ariel as it has a multi-compartment design that keeps the ingredients separate until they are released into the wash, lifting stains and maintaining the brightness of your clothes.
I really liked the compact size of the Ariel 3in1 Pods as well as it being easy and uncomplicated to handle. No more spills of washing liquid in the untility room!
The packaging boxes are also designed so that the small pack and large pack will stack – you can see that in the image where the large pack is on top of the small pack. In the photo you will also see a bottle of the new Ariel Stain Remover which we are putting to good use testing on the grubby soles of the white socks that seem to appear from no where on our home!
I will certainly be purchasing more Ariel 3in1 Pods to handle the launchry needs of our busy household and we’ll be putting them further to the test this Autumn when the girls come home super muddy from their cross country running.
Note: The product shot was taken with a Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom – I am testing this camera phone thanks to Samsung Ireland.
