Are you looking for inexpensive ways to power up your visual content marketing?
Perhaps you have considered investing in developing infographics with support from your design team, using image editing software or even invested in infographic software?
I recently wrote about creating simple instructographics with tools such as PicMonkey.
I been fortunate to test GetBulb a new software being developed here in Ireland which I think will prove really popular when it is publically available for making complex data easier to interpret. It is super responsive in terms of helping you create graphics from data you are holding in Excel charts.
But sometimes we don’t have numerical data and we still may want to create an infoposter or infographic. If you are a small business and with a very limited budget and no design skills in-house there is now another option in town Instant Infographics Presence (affiliate link) – and I have been fortunate to test it.
I am pleased to say it’s also developed by someone who is based in Ireland (at least here is here ‘part time’).
I had the opportunity to create an infographic using the new software and it was super easy to use – there are a host of graphic options available and you can add your own images. There are also some templates that you can use for inspiration.
I don’t think it will compete with tools such as Piktochart that I highly recommend, which comes with so many terrific templates – but when I tell you that the price for this new infographic software is just 17 USD as a one time payment as it launches today, I am sure you will agree it is great value! NOTE: After the launch phase the investment of this software is currently 37 USD.
I spent about 15 minutes familarising myself with the software and while I was at it I created an infographic called ‘Pinterest Marketing School – 12 ways to enahnce your marketing success on Pinterest’ – you can see it in the image I am using in the article (that image for was created in PicMonkey) – or you can find it on Pinterest here.
I am not suggesting my infographic or infoposter is the best you could create – but I was a first time user of the software.
Below is a screenshot of the interface of the software.
The software is being launched today and there are some bonuses also available – I’m not even going to mention them here – they are graphics packages – personally I don’t think they will influence whether you invest in the software of not.
Yes Bertanddo is someone I have personally been in contact with and if you make a decision to invest in Instant Infographics Presence using my link I will receive a referal commission.
If you head to the sales page you will be able to watch a video from Bertranddo on how easy it is to use the software. It is a long sales page – don’t let that put you off.
What types of small businesses should not invest in this software?
1. If you have a designer inhouse, a partnership with a designer or have great graphic design skills yourself
2. If you have a formal corporate house style to your graphics that you need to ensure your infographics comply with
3. If you buy software and never have time to use it (I have been guilty of that many times!)
4. If you think creating infographics as part of your content marketing plan are a way to get more inbound ‘link love’ – beware as Google is coming down hard on this.
Additional features I would like to see in Instant Infographics Presence
I had access to the demo version of Instant Infographics Presence so here are some things I would like to see in a future release:
1. There was no ability to save the infographic as I was creating it – I always like to ‘save as I go’ with online software
2. There were no options to add your own background – though you could add a photograph.
Final thoughts on Instant Infographics Presence
I don’t think you will be disappointed if you manage to purchase it for the 17 USD it is being made available at today. Bertranddo typically increases the price of his products sometime after launch day so if you are reading this article at a later date, I am not sure what it will increase to.
Bertanddo and his team are pretty responsive in terms of handling questions I have had – I only hope he can keep that level of service up when he is deluged with new orders!
But frankly for 17 USD it is Instant Infographics Presence is is a great online tool for your visual content marketing toolkit. Even if you only used it once to create an infographic, it will save you a lot of time versus searching icons to use, and if you were to ask a designer to create it – well that could be any fee dependent on who you ask.
If you do decide to invest in Instant Infographics Presence please share with me the infographics you create. I would love to see them.
