I have written previously about how to create instructographics as part of your visual content marketing or for your online press releases using applications.
I came across a really simple instructographic from Angies list created by Ashleigh of Raidious who also created the social media sizing infographic I shared recently.
What I like about this instructographic is that it is east to create using a relevant background image and then adding text in overlays and is something even small businesses could achieve using tools like PicMonkey (my favourite visual editing tool which is easy to use for small businesses if you don’t have graphic design skills in-house).
There are a number of design changes I would make to this instructographic, which I cover in my visual content marketing and Pinterest training workshops, to help you attract more leads to your business. However I think it works well for the purpose it was created, which was a post on Facebook.
You could then use this image on Pinterest or on your blog.
You would need different formats for posting on different social networks to maximise the impact of your image.
Save this instructographic on Pinterest as a reminder for your own visual content creation
I highly recommend that you create a swipe file for your visual content marketing which will help inspire you in the future. I find Pinterest is a great online platform for this.
I have made it super easy for you curate this example of an infographic to you own Pinterest swipe file – just re-pin the image in the link below:
– How to promote your business with a simple instructographic for visual content marketing success
Of course if you are not on Pinterest you save the recipe to your other social bookmarking sites or even click here to share the instructographic and this article to Twitter.
