I am delighted to have been invited by Cork Chamber to speak at an event called ‘Social Media Wake Up Call’ taking place on the evening of 30 July in Cork.
The sessions at the event will look at the issue about how to manage your online reputation.
The seminar will be chaired by Colm O’Regan, Stand-up comedian and broadcaster and speakers include Pat Mullins of Mullins Lynch Byrne Solicitorswho will share information about social media use in the workplace including the importance of a social media policy and Caroline Goulding, Trust & Safety Lead, LinkedIn who will speak about the implications of trust and safety when using social media, negative posts and online etiquette.
I am going to cover practical guidance including tips for making sure you respect copyright of content online when posting to your social media channels, how to manage your online reputation, tools you can use to be compliant and practical tips for using social media in the event of a crisis.
