Developers - here is an interesting competition for you - the Mobile App Challenge with the first prize being US$10k and a trip for two to the Mobile World Conference in Barcelona in February 2011.

If you have students in the family about to go off to college or who just can not wait to move out of home, you might want to tell them about the Globrix.ie student competition called 'Find the Gaff'.

The online Globrix.ie competition runs from 19 August to 3 September 2010 and you have to be 17 years or over to enter.

Follow the directions on their competition website and you could find yourself the winner of €1000.
