As today is National Rum Day in the US (who knew?) I thought it would be appropriate to share a recipe I discovered for making Skinny Strawberry Daiquiris.
They remind me of my time living in the US when I tasted frozen strawberry daiquiris for the first time on my trip to New Orleans.
Apparently the original daiquiri was a mixture of rum, lime, and sugar, served over ice and first recorded in a Cuban mining town of the same name.
