If you are looking at case studies of organisations using Google Hangouts On Air to share knowledge with members for your membership organisation here are two Hangouts hosted by Associated Press Photo Managers whose member oversee photography in the publications that they work for.
The first was held in June 2014 and covered using different approaches to daily video in publications. The Hangout On Air featured Erin Brethauer, videographer and Multimedia Editor at the Asheville Citizen-Times, Danny Gawlowski, Photo and Video Editor at The Seattle Times, Kathy Kieliszewski, Director of Photo and Video at the Detroit Free Press and Eric Lutzens, Multimedia Producer at The Denver Post.
The second was held in August 2014 and was a discussion about on on decisions that go into running sensitive and graphic images in publication, both print and online. The panel features Jonathan Woods (Time.com), Sue Morrow (Sacramento Bee), Kenny Irby (Poynter) and Denis Paquin (Associated Press), with Stan Alost (Ohio University) moderating.
In the past I was the Founder and Chair of a non profit membership organisation and I hosted teleseminars, podcasts and webinars to attract new members and as a membership benefit offering continuing professional development opportunities.
