If you are using Instagram in your visual marketing you may have been frustrated that if you post a video or image and make an error when typing your description in the post that there was no easy way to change it.
With the latest release of the iOS Instagram app update on 10 November that was rectified.
Now you can change the description – for example if you make a spelling listake, want to add more details or change the URL you are referencing – note that URL’s are not clickable links still other than the one link in your Instagram bio.
Adding geotags is also something that is a feature many organisations and marketers fail to do – if you do not want to add a geo tag that s curated for a specific location you can add a ‘fake’ geo tag – for example I use this field to add a url or tip – you can this in see my posts on Instagram here.
