Have you considered self publishing non fiction ebooks on the Kindle as part of your content marketing plan to attract more leads into your business? Perhaps you have wondered what it takes to be a best seller?
Over the last couple of years I have watched with interest – and read the self published books – of Pam Brossman and have seen her success with Kindle ebooks to support her business.
She is now sharing the approach she takes in an online training programme.
Last Friday I joined a webinar she was delivering and Pam shared some of the tactics she has been using. You can register to watch the replay here.
Important note: The programme she is offering is only available to register through to Tuesday 16 July and I am not sure if you will be able to watch the webinar replay after then.
UPDATE: Pam has just confirmed her programme is available through to today (Monday 15 July) only, at a special low price, so the webinar with its free tips, may well come down later today after 3pm Ireland/UK time.
Here are some of the tips that Pam shared about pricing your Kindle ebook and pre-marketing tactics that you may want to experiment with, if you want to sell more books on Amazon …
Three tips for your Kindle ebook pre-marketing plan:
1 – Develop and start to implement your marketing plan for your ebook before the launch day
2 – Identify strategic partners and colleagues who can support you in promoting your Kindle ebook to their networks
3 – Invite people in your network the opportunity to review the Kindle ebook before it is officially launched, but make sure you comply with Amazon guidelines.
And here are two pricing tips for your Amazon Kindle ebook:
1 – One tactic Pam has found to work very effectively for a Kindle ebook launch is pricing the book between US$ 4.97 and US$ 6.97 if the proceeds of the sales are going to a charity
2 – Contrary to the approach many people are taking in terms of launching their ebook for free, to increase downloads, Pam does not recommend that tactic. What may surprise you is she commented that people have more respect for an ebook that achieved best seller status when it is a paid ebook.
She stated what she finds to be the most effective approach at the moment is launching your Kindle ebook at US$ 0.99 initially for few days to boost sales and then increasing the price.
I hope you find these tips of interest in planning the launch of your non fiction Kindle ebook.
What are you considering for your pre-marketing and pricing plan for your Kindle ebook launch? Do let me know if you adopt any of these ideas.
