This week saw the launch of SXSW, the music, film and interactive conference taking place in Austin Texas – and I am attending – well not in real life but through the power of Google Hangouts!
My Google Plus buddy Ronnie Bincer is hosting a series of live mobile Google Hangouts which started today with the first guest being Guy Kawasaki – see the video below.
Ronnie also hosted a Google Hangout with someone talking about digital printing and they even demonstrated edible digital candies – see the video below.
If you want to see the series of events and ask questions you can find them listed on the Google Hangout Event pages – on the right hand side of each page is the link to each interview – just click on the down arrow on the right side once you are logged into Google Plus.
Alternatively you can see all the replays of the series from SXSW on YouTube.
This series is made possible as Ronnie is working with a colleague who is doing all the recording, but behing the scenes there is a group of us acting as Google Hangout Producers and we are setting up each event and then handing over the session to Ronnie – this is becuase we are members of a paid community called the Hangout Mastery. I have personally found it a great place to collaborate and even found myself being invited as a guest on Hangouts by participating in the community.
So if you want to watch the series of events here are the links for each day of the Mobile SXSW Hangouts
And if you want to learn more about how to be more effective at hosting Google Hangout why not come and join me and my fellow Hangout Producers in the Hangout Mastery.
By the way – if you want to use Google Hangouts to host webinars, then check out this new service that I use called WebinarJam – I do still use Go To Webinar and unlike some online marketers would not jump ship as they do serve different needs and I always recommend you have a plan B if live streaming events and webinars are important to your business.
Please note that training programme and hangout hosting programmes mentioned in this article are products and services I use and invest in, and if you purchase through my links I will receive a referral fee as detailed in my disclosure policy.
