If you are new to using Twitter in your business you will find this infogrpahic helpful as a checklist to follow for your Twitter marketing. The infographic was designed by Render Positive.
With Small Business Saturday launching for the first time in the UK on 7 December after several years of success in the US – I first wrote about the initiative back in 2011 – you can use Twitter this week (and every other week of the year) to promote your business. There has never been a better time to promote your small business as the traditional media channels in the UK will all be promoting the importance of shopping with small independent retailers this week.
For more guidance on using Twitter in your business check out my previous articles about Twitter here.
You will also find this guide from Twitter in the UK of assistance (note it is a PDF) – I have been including it in the handbook of resources in my recent workshops but realise it had not been included in one of my recent articles.
And if you are looking for inspiration to help you in the form of how other businesses are using Twitter see the terrific collection of Twitter success stories here – published by Twitter.
Make sure that you follow the Small Business Saturday UK Twitter account and remember to add the hashtag #smallbizsatuk when posting about your Small Business Saturday involvement.
And if you are open to investing in advertising on Twitter – remember that Twitter recently launched self service ads for businesses in the UK and Ireland. Follow the Twitter Ads UK account here to keep up to date with information about their product.
