If you are in Ireland you might want to check out the new eight part series called ‘What is digital marketing’ hosted by Bobby Kerr as part of his ‘Down to Business’ show on Newstalk FM.
The series is being held over eight weeks and the first week they started with understanding what digital marketing is with Joan Mulvihill of the IIA as a guest.
Anthony Quigley of the Digital Marketing Institute is appearing through the series.
Today I was invited to be a guest on the show and we talked about whether social media is relevant for small businesses – the photo above is a little blurry as it was taken through the glass looking into the Newstalk studio!
If you miss the show live then you can listen to the podcast of the show below.
If you came across this article through listening to the show you will find these resources of assistance:
– resources to help you develop your social media policy
– the research that I referred to in the show about relevance of Twitter for small and medium businesses
– Irish consumer research I referred to relating to consumers expectations of being able to communicate with organisations through a mulit-channel experience.
Let me know if there are questions you have as a result of listening to the show – you can leave me a question below in the comments or on my Facebook page.
